Delve pricing and what Delve SOC 2 costs per year, with Delve vs Vanta on price and the cost of switching
Delve does not put a price on its website. It does publish one on AWS Marketplace. Here is that figure, what makes it grow, how it sits next to Vanta and the other SOC 2 platforms, and what the first year costs if you are moving off Delve after the 2026 allegations.

How much does Delve cost per year?
Delve pricing starts at $12,000 a year. That is the Foundation Package on Delve's own AWS Marketplace listing, read on September 25, 2026, and it is labeled the starting cost for a company with 1 to 20 employees on a 12-month contract. The listing says pricing scales with employee count, and that fees adjust if your number of authorized users grows past what the order covers.
Delve's website shows no figures at all. delve.co/pricing returns a 404 and the homepage ends in a demo request, so the marketplace listing is the only number the company puts in writing. Treat it as a floor: a 60 person company will not pay the 1 to 20 employee price, and add-ons Delve names on its site, such as penetration testing and vCISO support, are not in that line.
The price question changed in March 2026, when an anonymous whistleblower alleged that Delve pre-wrote auditor conclusions and supplied fabricated evidence. Delve denies it and says final reports are issued only by independent, licensed auditors. It now offers active customers a re-audit and a pen test at no cost. If your customers have started questioning a Delve-era SOC 2 report, the real first-year cost of your program is the software plus a new audit from a CPA firm you choose.
Complies sells the software half at a published price: $47, $119 or $299 a month at the yearly rate, not per employee, with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS cross-mapped from Growth at $1,428 a year. You hire the auditor yourself and talk to them directly.
Complies assists with compliance workflows. It is not legal advice, and it does not certify you or guarantee audit outcomes. Your auditor decides; Complies gets you ready.
Three things that decide what Delve, or its replacement, costs you this year
Your employee count
The only published Delve price covers 1 to 20 employees. Past that the listing says the price scales with headcount, so a company that doubles in a year should ask for the rate at its next band before it signs. Tools priced by plan or by seat rather than by employee move less when you hire people who never touch the compliance program.
audit readiness softwareWho your auditor is, and whether customers trust the report
A SOC 2 report is only worth what your customers believe about the firm that signed it. Since March 2026 some buyers ask which firm audited a vendor and whether the auditor designed its own tests. If you need a report from a well-known CPA firm, price the audit on its own: that fee is usually the largest line in the first year, and no software price includes an independent one.
audit evidence collectionHow many frameworks you need after SOC 2
Delve lists SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST, FedRAMP, ISO 42001 and NIST AI RMF, and does not publish what each adds. Most small SaaS companies need two or three: SOC 2 for US buyers, then HIPAA or ISO 27001. Ask whether a second framework is a new line on the quote, and compare that with tools that map several frameworks to one control set at one price.
control mapping softwareDelve pricing next to Vanta and Complies
What each vendor puts in writing, checked in September 2026. Vanta publishes no price, so its column uses Vendr's brokered median, which is a sample of real contracts and not a rate card.
| What you are comparing | Delve | Vanta | Complies |
|---|---|---|---|
| Published price | $12,000 a year, Foundation Package, 1 to 20 employees (AWS Marketplace) | None published. Vendr median about $20,000 a year (February 2026) | $47, $119 or $299 a month at the yearly rate |
| What makes it go up | Employee count, and authorized users beyond the order | Company size, frameworks and add-on products | Moving up a plan: 3, 15 or 40 seats, 1 or 5 frameworks |
| How you buy | Demo, 12-month contract, also on AWS Marketplace | Demo, annual contract | Self-serve, monthly or yearly, no sales call |
| Audit | Through auditors Delve connects you with, or one you choose | Through its auditor partners, or one you choose | Not sold. You hire the CPA firm you want |
| Frameworks named | SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST, FedRAMP, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF | SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS and many more | SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS, cross-mapped from Growth |
| Support model | 1:1 Slack support with security experts | Customer success, tiered by plan | Email support, the product is built to run without a consultant |
The Delve figure is the vendor's own starting price for its smallest size band, and the Vanta figure is a median of brokered deals, so they are not the same kind of number. Neither includes the audit. Complies is not a cheaper Delve: it has no Slack channel with experts, no pen testing and no auditor introductions. It is the software half of a SOC 2 program at a price you can read before you talk to anyone. Compare these platforms feature by feature on Vanta alternatives, Drata alternatives and Secureframe alternatives.
What Delve and the price sources actually publish, checked on September 25, 2026
Pages ranking for Delve pricing mostly repeat a user anecdote or a range with no source. This is what each primary page shows when you open it.
| What we checked | What it says today | Any figure published | What that means for a buyer |
|---|---|---|---|
| delve.co/pricing | Page not found (404) | None | There is no pricing page. The number comes from a sales call |
| delve.co homepage | "Compliance in days", white-glove onboarding, 1:1 Slack support, add-ons such as pen testing and vCISO | None | Services exist beyond the platform, and their prices are not public |
| The AWS Marketplace listing | One 12-month dimension, the Foundation Package, "Starting cost for 1-20 employees" | $12,000 | The only figure Delve itself puts in writing. A floor for the smallest companies |
| Delve's March 24, 2026 announcement | Free re-audit by an independent, peer-reviewed, AICPA-accredited auditor, a free pen test, and engagement letters on request, for active customers | No cost to active customers | If you stay, ask for the re-audit in writing before renewal |
| Vendr's marketplace page | A single recorded purchase | One contract | One data point is not a median. We do not use it as a benchmark |
Why no range: every Delve range online traces back to one of three things, the $12,000 listing, a single customer quote, or an estimate with no sample behind it. The listing is dated and comes from the vendor, which is why we use it and nothing else.
What you get from Complies instead, and what you give up
A price you can read before a demo
Starter $47 a month, Growth $119 and Scale $299 at the yearly rate, or $95, $239 and $599 billed monthly. The price is set by plan, not by employee count, so hiring a sales team does not move your compliance bill.
Your auditor, chosen and paid by you
We do not sell audits and we do not route you to a firm. You pick the CPA firm, you sign the engagement letter, and the auditor designs their own tests against the evidence you upload. That is the independence question buyers now ask, answered by how the purchase is structured.
Five frameworks on one control set
From Growth, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS map to one control set, so one access review or policy approval counts toward every framework it satisfies. Adding HIPAA next year is a setting, not a new contract line.
Evidence you wrote, with dates and owners
Every control has a named owner, a due date and the evidence attached to it, uploaded by the person who did the work. Templates are starting points you edit and approve. Nothing is marked done until someone on your team does it.
Reminders before things go stale
Access reviews, policy reviews, vendor reviews and control tests each become a dated obligation. Owners get email reminders 7 days and 1 day before the due date, and the whole calendar exports to your own calendar app.
What you give up, said plainly
No Slack channel with security experts, no pen testing, no vCISO and no auditor introductions. If you want a vendor to run the program for you end to end, Delve and the services-led platforms are built for that and we are not.
How to price Delve, or its replacement, in one week
Write down your headcount band
The published $12,000 covers 1 to 20 employees. Ask Delve for the price at your current headcount and at the band above it, because the listing says the price moves with employee count.
Ask who audits you, in writing
Get the name of the CPA firm, its peer review status and an engagement letter addressed to your company. If you are an existing customer, ask for the free re-audit Delve announced and a date for it.
Get two independent audit quotes
Ask two CPA firms for a SOC 2 Type 1 or Type 2 quote at your scope. That number is the same whichever platform you use, and it is the one your customers care about.
Price the software separately and compare the year
Put the software price next to the audit quotes and add any pen test. If a bundle still wins on total cost, sign it with the auditor named. If not, buy the pieces and keep the difference.
Who this is for, and who it is not
A GOOD FIT WHEN
- You are holding a Delve proposal and want to check it against the one price Delve publishes.
- You are a Delve customer whose buyers have started asking who audited your SOC 2 report.
- You want to choose and pay your own auditor, with no introductions from the software vendor.
- You need SOC 2 now and HIPAA or ISO 27001 next without a new line on the contract.
- You are a 5 to 200 person company that wants to start the same day without a demo.
LOOK ELSEWHERE WHEN
- You want a vendor to write your evidence and run the audit relationship for you.
- You want 1:1 Slack support with security experts as part of the subscription.
- You need HITRUST, FedRAMP, ISO 42001 or NIST AI RMF, which we do not map.
- You want pen testing and vCISO support bought from the same vendor as the software.
- Your procurement team buys only through AWS Marketplace to draw down committed spend.
Questions buyers ask about Delve pricing
Delve costs from $12,000 a year. Its AWS Marketplace listing, read in September 2026, prices the Foundation Package at $12,000 for a 12-month contract and labels it the starting cost for 1 to 20 employees. The price scales with employee count and authorized users. Delve's website publishes no figures, and add-ons such as pen testing and vCISO support are not in that line.
Not on its website. delve.co/pricing returns a 404 and the homepage offers a demo, not a price. The exception is AWS Marketplace, where Delve lists one 12-month dimension, the Foundation Package, at $12,000 for companies with 1 to 20 employees. Everything above that size band is quoted.
For a company of up to 20 people the published starting point is $12,000 a year for the platform. Whether the audit sits inside that number depends on the proposal, so ask for it as a separate line. If your customers want a report from a firm they recognize, budget an independent SOC 2 audit on top of the software.
On paper, Delve. Delve publishes $12,000 a year for 1 to 20 employees, while Vanta publishes nothing and Vendr reports a median Vanta contract of about $20,000 a year (February 2026). The comparison is loose, because one is a starting price for the smallest band and the other is a median across company sizes. Neither figure includes an independent audit.
In March 2026 an anonymous whistleblower alleged that Delve generated auditor conclusions before evidence was reviewed and supplied fabricated evidence, and TechCrunch named two audit firms, Accorp and Gradient. Delve denies the allegations and says final reports and opinions are issued solely by independent, licensed auditors. On March 24 it offered active customers a free re-audit and pen test.
If customers or prospects are asking about your report, yes, and it is cheaper than losing the deal. Take Delve's free re-audit if you are staying, or hire an independent CPA firm you choose if you are moving. Confirm in writing that the auditor designs its own tests, and keep your own evidence with dates and owners.
For a funded startup that wants automation plus an auditor network, Vanta, Drata or Secureframe (Secureframe publishes $7,500 a year for its one-framework plan). For a bundle of software, consulting and audit, Thoropass or Scytale, which list AWS starting prices. For a small team that wants software only at a published price and its own auditor, Complies at $47 to $299 a month.
Delve's published $12,000 starting price sits below Vendr's Drata median of $24,868 a year (February 2026) and above Secureframe's published $7,500 a year for its one-framework Fundamentals plan. Delve's figure only covers 1 to 20 employees, so a growing company should compare quotes at its real headcount, not the floor.
Yes. Delve lists its Automated Compliance Platform on AWS Marketplace with a $12,000 Foundation Package on a 12-month contract. Buying there can draw down committed AWS spend, which is a genuine reason some procurement teams prefer it. The listing still scales by employee count, so the marketplace price is a floor, not a quote.
