Hyperproof pricing: what Hyperproof costs in 2026, and the one benchmark with a real sample

Hyperproof does not publish a price. Its pricing page is a demo request and an ROI calculator, so every figure you have read about Hyperproof cost came from somewhere else. Here is the one benchmark that discloses its sample, what actually moves the quote, and who should be paying that much in the first place.

PRICING

How much does Hyperproof cost?

Hyperproof does not publish pricing. We read hyperproof.io/pricing on September 6, 2026: it carries a demo request, an ROI calculator and customer case studies, and not one dollar figure or plan tier. The only benchmark that discloses a sample is Vendr, which brokers real contracts and publishes what its buyers paid. As of its February 2026 update, Vendr reports a median Hyperproof contract of $41,400 a year across 44 purchases, ranging from $22,215 to $70,000, with buyers saving about 21 percent off the first quote. Treat that as a record of what companies paid, not a rate card, because Hyperproof scopes each deal.

That median tells you something more useful than the number itself: Hyperproof is priced as an enterprise GRC platform, not as a first-audit tool. Roughly $41,000 a year buys a control library, 160-plus framework templates, risk, audit, third-party risk and governance modules, and the staff time to run them. If you have a compliance manager whose job is running that program, it is a fair price for real capability. If compliance is a side job for your head of engineering, you are buying a platform sized for a department you do not have.

Two figures circulate that we will not repeat as fact: a "starting at $12,000 a year" list price and a "$10,000 implementation fee". Both trace only to software directories and competitor pricing blogs with no disclosed methodology and no confirmation from Hyperproof, so raise them with your rep as questions rather than budgeting against them. Complies sits at the other end deliberately: $79, $199 and $499 a month at the yearly rate, published, self-serve, all five frameworks cross-mapped from Growth. Growth at $2,388 a year is about 6 percent of the Hyperproof median, which is the right comparison only if you genuinely need five frameworks rather than a hundred and sixty. Budget your auditor separately either way, since the CPA firm is a different company and typically $5,000 to $20,000 for a SOC 2 Type 1.

Complies assists with compliance workflows. It is not legal advice, and it does not certify you or guarantee audit outcomes. Your auditor decides; Complies gets you ready.

WHAT MOVES THE PRICE

Three things that decide your Hyperproof number

1

You are buying a program, not a checklist

The Hyperproof quote reflects a platform built for a staffed compliance function: a control library you populate, 160-plus framework templates, and risk, audit, third-party risk and governance running alongside each other. That breadth is the value and the cost. If your actual need is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 evidence collected on a schedule, most of what you are paying for will sit unused, and unused capability still renews.

2

Framework count and headcount move the quote

Hyperproof scopes each deal, and the two levers everywhere in this category are how many frameworks you carry and how many people touch the platform. Hyperproof prices on workload rather than per seat, which is genuinely friendlier for large teams, and it is why the Vendr range runs from $22,215 to $70,000 on the same product. Work out your framework list before the first call, because it sets the band you get quoted in.

3

The term is annual and the discount is real

Vendr reports buyers taking about 21 percent off the first Hyperproof quote, which tells you the opening number is not the closing number. It also tells you this is procurement, not signup: an annual contract scoped through sales, agreed before the product has collected a single piece of evidence from your stack. That is the trade you are making, and it is worth naming out loud before you start the process.

COMPARE

Hyperproof vs AuditBoard (Optro) vs Complies: how each one prices

This table compares pricing models rather than feature counts, because the pricing model is what you actually have to live with. Every figure is either published by the vendor or labeled as a third-party benchmark with its sample and date. Verified September 6, 2026, and any vendor can change this tomorrow.

Two honest notes. The Vendr medians are brokered-contract data, not vendor rate cards, and your quote can land outside the range in either direction. And a $41,400 median is not an accusation: Hyperproof sells a broader product to bigger compliance teams than Complies does, and for those teams it is a reasonable price for what arrives. The mistake is buying it at 40 people because a board member named it. For a feature-level read rather than a pricing one, see Hyperproof alternatives, AuditBoard alternatives and LogicGate alternatives.

THE WHOLE CATEGORY

What every GRC platform in this bracket actually costs

Hyperproof is quote-only, and so is nearly everything it competes with, which is the practical problem when you are trying to build a budget before you build a shortlist. Where a vendor publishes nothing, we cite Vendr and label the sample and the date. Where no benchmark with a disclosed sample exists, we say that instead of repeating a directory number.

Platform Published price Third-party benchmark Who it fits
Hyperproof None. Demo request only Median $41,400 a year, 44 purchases, $22,215 to $70,000 (Vendr, February 2026) Compliance teams running many frameworks against a populated control library
AuditBoard, now Optro None. Demo request only Median $45,895 a year, 85 purchases, $21,180 to $110,551 (Vendr, February 2026) Internal audit and SOX functions at larger organizations
LogicGate Risk Cloud None. Demo request only Median $53,784 a year, $12,294 to $136,130, sample not disclosed (Vendr, 2026) Risk-led programs that want to build their own workflows
OneTrust None. Publishes the metric each product prices on, but no rates Median $11,970 a year, 307 purchases, $1,620 to $48,230 (Vendr, February 2026) Organizations buying privacy and governance modules together
Archer None. Demo request only No benchmark with a disclosed sample. We will not repeat directory figures Large regulated enterprises with a dedicated risk function
MetricStream None. Demo request only No benchmark with a disclosed sample. We will not repeat directory figures Enterprise GRC at scale, usually multi-entity
Complies $79, $199 and $499 a month at the yearly rate. $95, $239 and $599 monthly Not applicable. The price is on the pricing page Teams of 5 to 200 that want a price and a start date the same week

Read the two blanks in that table as information, not as gaps. Archer and MetricStream have no brokered median with a disclosed sample, and the per-tier figures that circulate for both on directory sites carry no methodology, so quoting them would make this page look more precise and be less true. If you need a number for either, the only route is a quote.

CAPABILITIES

What you get on every Complies plan from Growth

The price is on the page

Starter $79 a month, Growth $199, Scale $499 at the yearly rate, or $95, $239 and $599 billed monthly. No demo gate, no discovery call, no quote sized to your last funding round.

Monthly billing, not an annual quote

You can pay monthly and leave. That is the structural difference from a $41,400 annual contract scoped before the platform has read anything on your stack: the product has to keep earning $199 a month.

Five frameworks, cross-mapped, no add-on

SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS from Growth. Five is not 160, and that is the point: they are the five that US buyers and auditors actually ask for, and finishing SOC 2 pre-fills roughly 60 percent of ISO 27001.

Start the same day

Sign up, connect AWS, GitHub, Google Workspace and Okta, and see a readiness score today. No demo, no scoping call, no waiting on a sales calendar before any work can begin.

Evidence that collects itself

Access reviews, change logs and monitoring settings stream in on a schedule, attached to the control they prove and the person who owns it, so the audit is a query rather than a scramble.

A readiness score that will not flatter you

One number plus a ranked gap list naming what is missing and who owns it. It never reads 100, because no tool can promise an audit outcome, and a score that always shows green is decoration.

BUYING

How to get a real Hyperproof number without four demos

01

Write down your framework count first

The single biggest lever on a Hyperproof quote is how many frameworks you carry, and the second is how much of the platform you will actually use. Hyperproof leads with 160-plus frameworks. Count the ones a customer or regulator has genuinely asked you for. For most US companies under 200 people that number is one or two.

02

Anchor the call on the Vendr band, not on hope

Walk in knowing the median is $41,400 across 44 purchases and the range runs $22,215 to $70,000. That is not a negotiating trick, it is the difference between evaluating a quote and reacting to one. Vendr also reports buyers taking about 21 percent off, so the first number is an opening.

03

Ask what the implementation actually costs

A $10,000 implementation fee is widely reported and nowhere confirmed by Hyperproof, so ask directly rather than assuming either way. Ask what onboarding includes, who does the control-library population, and whether any of it is waived on a multi-year term. Get it in writing before signature, because that is your one moment of leverage.

04

Or price the honest alternative first

If your compliance program is one or two frameworks and nobody owns it full time, spend twenty minutes on a self-serve platform before you spend six weeks in a sales cycle. Complies publishes $79 to $499 a month, so you can connect your stack today and find out what your real gaps are before anyone quotes you $41,000 to fix them.

FIT

Who this is for, and who it is not

A GOOD FIT WHEN

  • You have a Hyperproof quote in hand and want to know whether it is in the normal band.
  • You are building a compliance budget and cannot get a starting number out of anyone.
  • You run one or two frameworks and suspect you are being sold a platform sized for ten.
  • You want monthly billing, or at minimum the option of it, instead of an annual commitment.
  • You need a start date this week rather than a scoping call three weeks out.

LOOK ELSEWHERE WHEN

  • You have a staffed GRC function running many frameworks against a populated control library. Hyperproof is genuinely built for that and Complies is not, and we would rather say so here than after you buy.
  • You need a FedRAMP-authorized environment. Hyperproof runs a FedRAMP-certified Gov offering; Complies does not.
  • Internal audit fieldwork and workpapers are the core of the job. That is AuditBoard territory.
  • You need CMMC, consent management, cookie banners, DSAR automation or data mapping. Complies does none of those.
  • Your procurement requires an annual contract, a named account team and a security questionnaire answered by a human.
QUESTIONS

Common questions about Hyperproof pricing

Hyperproof does not publish pricing, so there is no list answer. The one benchmark with a disclosed sample is Vendr, which reported a median Hyperproof contract of $41,400 a year across 44 purchases as of February 2026, ranging from $22,215 to $70,000. Treat that as what companies paid rather than a rate card, because every Hyperproof deal is scoped through sales.

No. We read hyperproof.io/pricing on September 6, 2026. It carries a demo request, an ROI calculator and customer case studies, with no plan tiers and no dollar figures anywhere on the page. The only way to get a number is to book a demo and go through a scoping conversation, which lands on an annual contract.

Hyperproof does not advertise a free trial or a self-serve signup. The path onto the product is a demo request, so the fastest a normal buyer gets hands-on is after a sales conversation. If evaluating the product yourself this week matters more than framework breadth, a self-serve platform is the only category that offers it.

Because directories and competitor pricing blogs repeat each other. We could not find that figure, or the widely quoted $10,000 implementation fee, confirmed anywhere in Hyperproof material, and neither source discloses a methodology. Ask your rep about both directly. We would rather this page be less specific and correct than confidently wrong.

On Vendr medians it is, slightly. As of February 2026 Vendr reports Hyperproof at $41,400 a year, AuditBoard, now Optro, at $45,895 and LogicGate at $53,784. The ranges overlap heavily, so the logo matters far less than your framework count, your headcount and how hard you negotiate. All three sit in the same enterprise bracket and none of them is a small-team purchase.

Hyperproof prices on workload rather than per seat, which means adding people to the platform does not mechanically raise the bill. That is a genuine advantage over per-seat GRC pricing if you want auditors, engineers and control owners all working in the same system. What does move the number is scope: frameworks, modules and how much of the platform you turn on.

No. Hyperproof is software and cannot issue your SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report. A licensed CPA firm or certification body performs the audit and invoices you separately, typically $5,000 to $20,000 for a SOC 2 Type 1. This is true of every platform in the category including Complies, so compare software line to software line.

Complies publishes $79 a month for Starter, $199 for Growth and $499 for Scale at the yearly rate, with monthly billing available and SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS cross-mapped from Growth. Growth at $2,388 a year is roughly 6 percent of the Hyperproof median. The trade is real: five frameworks instead of 160, no FedRAMP environment, and no internal-audit workpapers.

Anchor on the published band rather than on the first number. Vendr reports an average saving of about 21 percent, so the opening quote assumes movement. Ask what a second framework adds at renewal, what onboarding costs and whether it is waived on a multi-year term, and get renewal uplift capped in writing. Signature is the only moment you hold leverage.

Usually not, and that is a scoping judgment rather than a criticism of the product. At $41,400 a year median you are funding a control library, 160-plus frameworks and modules for risk, audit, third-party risk and governance. A 50-person company chasing SOC 2 and maybe ISO 27001 uses a fraction of that, and typically has nobody whose job is running it. Buy Hyperproof when you have hired the person who will operate it.
